Recovered COVID patients outnumber active cases: Itanagar

ITANAGAR, Aug 3: For the second day running, the recovered cases outnumbered the Covid-19 detected cases in the state on Monday.

Today, 67 recovered patients were discharged from Covid Care Centres across the state, said IDSP state surveillance officer Dr Lobsang Jampa.

Of the 67 recovered patients, 45 were from Itanagar Capital Complex followed by Lohit (7), Upper Siang (6), Papum Pare (5), one each from Changlang, Lower Dibang Valley, Kamle and Lower Siang.

The total recovered cases in the state have risen to 1063, Dr Jampa said.
As many as 60 new Covid-19 cases were detected on Monday, taking the total to 1758 cases. The state has 692 active cases while three persons have died.

On Monday, 2196 samples were tested taking the total samples taken to 91,227 samples.
Presently, Itanagar Capital Complex has the highest number of Covid-19 active cases at 213 cases followed by Changlang with 130.
