Sambit Patra in Ukhrul with N Biren Singh for BJP mandal meeting

Scores of party workers and BJP intending candidates for the ensuing ADC elections are attending the program.

BJP national spokesperson and in-charge BJP Manipur Pradesh, Sambit Patra arrived in Ukhrul today at Assam Rifle Headquarters at around 11: 35 am. He is accompanied by chief minister, N Biren Singh and his cabinet minister Henry Okram social welfare minister and hosts of state BJP leaders including Premananda meitie BJP state organisation general secretary, former deputy speaker MK. Preshaw.

Sambit Patra is expected to attend a BJP mandal level meeting at Ukhrul town hall organised by BJP Ukhrul, Chingai and Phungyar constituencies. He will be interacting with the district BJP leaders, Intellectuals, social activists, MLAs, ADC members, Ex-MLAs, Ex-MPs of BJP, and leave for Imphal in the evening. Scores of party workers and BJP intending candidates for the ensuing ADC elections are attending the program. Till the time of filing this report, the high octane team haven’t reached the event hall.

Earlier this week, Sambit Patra announced on his one day district level Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) meeting in Tamenglong with CM, N. Biren that Manipur state cabinet meeting will be held in Tamenglong district on January 28.

The national spokesperson on Wednesday inaugurated BJP Tengnoupal Mandal at Tengnoupal district headquarters, accompanied by Maha Sangathan Mantri BJP Manipur Pradesh, Abhay Kumar Gill. The inaugural ceremony was joined by S Tiken, BJP Manipur State president, Benjamin Mate spokesperson and members of former MDC and BJP Tengnoupal Mandal.
