Sambit Patra: Manipur Hill-Valley gap bridged in 5 yrs of BJP-led govt; Launches BJP Creative Campaign

Imphal: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched its “Creative Campaign” at a function held in Hotel Imphal Saturday.

During the campaign, the BJP will highlight the achievements of the BJP-led coalition government.

Attending the launching function, BJP Manipur in-charge Sambit Patra gave a brief account of the achievement of the BJP-led government in its five-year tenure.

He claimed that since the BJP-led government came to power in the state, it has bridged the gap between hill and valley.

Besides a remarkable improvement in the road communication and law and order situation, the coalition government implemented the Inner Line Permit system (ILP) in the state, fulfilling a long pending demand of the people, the BJP leader added.

Sambit Patra then mentioned the renaming of Mount Harriet as Mount Manipur acknowledging the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters of the state.

Also speaking on the occasion, Chief minister N Biren Singh said that the campaign aimed to reach out to people and spread awareness about the achievements of the BJP-led government through entertaining mediums.

The event was also attended by BJP state unit president A Sharda Devi, Works minister Th Biswajit Singh and Tribal Affairs minister Vungzagin Valte among others.
