Imphal: Manipur Security Advisor, Kuldiep Singh met with Governor of Manipur, Anusuiya Uikey today at Raj Bhavan and apprised of the present law and order situation in Manipur since the outbreak of the ethnic strife on May 3 last year.
According to a Raj Bhavan statement, Kuldiep further briefed the Governor about the security arrangements taken up to restore peace and normalcy in the state and the deployment of security forces in vulnerable areas, mainly in the fringe foothill areas to prevent unwanted incidents.

Meanwhile, Anusuiya Uikey advised the Security Advisor to put all efforts to bring back normalcy and peace in Manipur.
