SENAPATI: Assam Rifles organised a Musical Night at Senapati on Sunday, as a promotional event in the series of activities leading up to the commencement of the 5th Edition Lt Col Robert TA (Late) Open Football Tournament, scheduled to be held from February 5 onwards.

The cultural evening witnessed participation from renowned singers of Senapati district like Chonchon Varah, Samuel, Ngaoloune and Senapati Music Society whose performance captivated the audience and added vibrancy to the celebrations. The event also featured the launch of Robert Song by the Assam Rifles Band.

The event was attended by members of the football teams participating in the tournament, the family members of Lt Col Robert, civil dignitaries and personnel of Assam Rifles, fostering a common goal of promoting the event.

Organised in memory of Lt Col Robert TA (Late), the Musical Night paid tribute to his legacy of service and his passion for football.
