‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ 45-Chingai A/c, Reaching the Unreached Part-3

Former Deputy Speaker & Ex – MLA Chingai A/c Shri MK Preshow Shimray in continuing to step out and step up his extensive tour of 45- Chingai Kendra distributed rations, medicines, essential face masks, hand sanitizers, oximeters, solar lamps and financial assistance as Part-3 of his Seva Hi Sangathan (Organisation means Service). “Reaching the Unreached“ he visited Sagolmang Area of Western Tangkhul villages of Hoomi, Kachai, L Phungdhar, Maichon, Tora and Champhung accompanied by Smt. Luckmi Horam President 45- Chingai Mahila morcha, Chingriso A Chihui General Secretary (Org) 44 Mandal Ukhrul, Yuva Leaders and Party Karyakartas.

Preshow Shimray also conveyed the message and gratitude of Hon’ble CM to the villagers for their support and cooperation to the state government. Striking a balance of optimism and realism, Preshow Shimray presented accounts of Manipur government Covid -19 fight and coordination efforts led by the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister N Biren Singh setting up oxygen plants in all districts headquarters and strengthening health care infrastructures, Central government support, Health Ministry, various foreign funding agencies, NGOs as helps pour in to the state government from different sections of the society extending help in fighting Covid-19.

He held a meeting with the villagers and Covid-19 Task force to ensure that benefits of Ayushman Bharat, Chief Minister Haksel gi Tenbang and various flagship programme reaches the last village under Chingai A/c.

He also discussed and listened to the grievances and requests of the villagers on issues of misappropriation of rice quota allocations of PMGKAY and NFSA, transportation issues, Manipur government Rs. 200 per head per day to returnees last year during community quarantine period, utilisation of MLA local Area Development Fund (MLADF) approved by Cabinet for providing, essential commodities and relief works in Chingai A/c to fight Covid pandemic since April 2020 and urge the villagers to get vaccinated at the earliest with the emergence of third wave – Delta variant and called the vaccine the biggest weapon in the fight against corona virus.

MK Preshow called on the Sagolmang villages not to lose heart in these testing times and assured that he will take up the grievances and difficulties of the area with the support of the 45-BJP Chingai mandal. Acknowledging the tieless efforts made by the front line workers, village councils, media fraternity and all stake holders he thanked and appealed for collective effort and to stay informed about verified news and information from official government orders and notifications.

With the message of renewed hope, love and courage, he thank and praise god for sparing the Tangkhul people thus far from this dreaded Covid-19 pestilence. He urged the villagers to rededicate, recommit and reprioritise their lives.
