Shillong – New containment areas declared, some lifted

Shillong, Sept 5: Due to the detection of positive Covid-19 cases/high risk contacts which requires contact tracing, quarantine, testing and isolation the East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has declared the house of Sushila Gewali, Nepali Compound, Rilbong and the apartment of Pronoti Choudhary, Chinmoy Paul Building, Rilbong (near Beat House), house of Gulam Mustafa, (Behind Rock Wood Compound), M.G. Road, Shillong  as a containment areas  so as to restrict unregulated entry and exit movement on site.

Meanwhile, the District Magistrate has lifted the containment order from the building of S. Syiem at New Kench’s Trace, Bishnupur, Md. Salim Compound at Lower Mawprem and Unique, Near DCIC, Polo short round road, Lawmali.
