SIT continues probe in Zubeen Garg’s mysterious death

Guwahati, October 23 (SHABD): The investigation into the mysterious death of artist Zubeen Garg in Singapore is ongoing. 

A two-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by SDGP Munna Prasad Gupta is in Singapore to collect information related to the case. The team has reportedly met Singapore authorities and obtained several evidence including CCTV footage from the hotel where Garg stayed. 

On Wednesday, the authorities questioned Pratiksha Das, a close associate of Garg’s manager Siddhartha Sharma. Notably there were financial transactions between Siddhartha Sharma and the woman.

Additionally, the Judicial Inquiry Commission set up by the state government is conducting a parallel probe into the case. 

Meanwhile, three employees of Hotel Heritage, where Siddhartha Sharma was allegedly involved, appeared at the CID office today for questioning by the SIT.
