Upasana Konidela on her latest Facebook post praised Sopem, a Tangkhul therapist for her magic hands. She underlined the struggles of Northeast migrants in cities during the pandemic crisis and pointed out injustice of racial discrimination towards them for their mongoloid feature.

“My neck & shoulders tense up the most under stress. Sopem has magic in her hands. Can’t thank her enough ❤️. A lot of therapists & beauticians have been affected financially & morally by #covid19. Most come in search of jobs from Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram etc.. Ruthless people move away from them or make nasty comments on their features resembling the Chinese. It’s unfair, they are as Indian as any of us. I love & respect them. They have the power to heal. Spread love, relax, stay happy & do ur bit to help them financially”.

Upasana Konidela a businesswoman married to Ram Charan, popular Telegu actor is a well known personality in South India. She was the winner for Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2019 for the Philanthropist of the Year for her contributions in welfare, charity, and community.
