Kohima: The Kohima Press Club (KPC) expressing shock at the demise of Soreishim Mahong, photojournalist of Morung Express stated it was “deeply saddened to learn the demise of a dear friend and colleague, on October 27 in Dimapur.”
Known to the media fraternity as Sorei, Kohima Press Club stated, “Sorei in many ways- a gentleman with a huge smile and a great sense of humor, always telling great and profound stories through his work/photography.”
The condolence issued by Alice Yhoshü, president KPC, extending its sincere condolences and prayer for comfort for the bereaved family stated, “as the family grieves, know that we are remembering and honoring him,” adding “Sorei, you shall be dearly missed.”
According to sources, Soreishim Mahong from Ukhrul district’s Choithar village died of illness in Dimapur.
