Despite the absence of proper infrastructure and a boxing academy in the district, young Tangkhul boxers continue to display exceptional skill and extraordinary sportsmanship.

Their remarkable performances at the 4th Master Boys and Girls State Boxing Championship 2025, where they secured multiple medals, shows their potential. However, experts and sports enthusiasts believe that with the right guidance and sponsorship, these young talents could achieve even greater success at the national and international levels.

When it comes to sports, people in the hill can excel and compete at any level, provided they also have the same facilities at our disposal. The need for dedicated training centers and structured support remains crucial for nurturing the next generation of champion boxers from the region.
