Chandel, September 2: The All India Football Federation D Licence Course at Chandel’s MUGHSS ground concluded on Saturday, marking a successful step in the local football development.

Hosted by the District Sports Association, Chandel, the course saw 25 coaches, including two women, under the guidance of Coach Educator Gyan Moyon from the AIFF.

The coordination of the course was led by Mowarning Sumpi MC, with Th. Joyshing Monsang overseeing its overall management.

An integral part of this initiative was the four-day evening Football Festival sessions, facilitated by Pashel Blessing Anal, who generously offered his hostel facilities to accommodate young participants.

The District Sports Association, Chandel said it commends the dedication of all the coaches who attended this course, recognizing their shared commitment to nurturing football talent within the district. “The District Sports Association, Chandel, commends the dedication exhibited by the coaches and anticipates their role in nurturing local football talent,” said an official.

Looking ahead, the association plans to conduct a Referees recruitment cum Refreshers course, further advancing sports development in Chandel.
