According to Namsurei Thomas Kamei, IQAC Coordinator, a Spot Open Quiz Competition on electoral awareness was conducted to sensitise students about the electoral process and citizens’ rights and duties. Winners were awarded certificates and prizes, while T-shirts and caps were distributed among participants as part of the voter awareness drive.
A Voters’ Pledge Ceremony was also organised during the programme, where participants reaffirmed their commitment to uphold democratic values, ensure free and fair elections, and exercise their right to vote without fear or discrimination.
In addition, educational posters highlighting various stages of the electoral process — from nomination and campaigning to polling and declaration of results — were displayed to enhance public awareness.
