Tamenglong DC, Armstrong Pame (IAS) receives Covishield vaccine

With COVID-19 recovery rate reaching 99.5% in Tamenglong District, Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong, Armstrong Pame IAS, on Wednesday received Covishield vaccine, marking the first dose of the vaccine inoculated at Tamenglong District Hospital.

Superintendent of Police, Tamenglong, Sandip Mohurle IPS and Josiah Pamei, SDPO Tamenglong were also vaccinated today along with the others.

According to CMO Tamenglong, Dr. Chambo Gonmei, 60 people were vaccinated today at Tamenglong District Hospital and 32 number of people were vaccinated at Oinamlong, totalling 92.

According to the Health Department, 82 Samples were tested today but all came back negative. The total number of positives cases in Tamenglong as of today stands at 1476, while 7 died, only 1 case currently remain positive.

With that, the total number of recovered case stands at 1468.
