Tamenglong: Srikona Battalion of AR celebrates Raising Day

Tamenglong: The Srikona battalion of Assam Rifles in a press release said it celebrated its 21st Raising Day along with locals at New Kaiphundai and Nungba villages in Tamenlong district of Manipur under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East).

According to the press release, village chairman along with authority members, pastors of Baptist church, youth club president and village secretary joined Assam Rifles with great fervor and enthusiasm on this occasion. As the Battalion marked another milestone, the locals congratulated the troops for their endeavours to strengthen the bond with the civils.

As per the release, all guests were happy to join the event and appreciated the efforts and contribution of the Battalion towards the local populace. Also, they extended their gratitude and conveyed their commitment to cooperate with the Security forces.
