Ukhrul, May 15: The Tangkhul Naga Welfare Society Bengaluru (TNWSB) officially introduced its newly appointed executives for the 2025–2026 tenure on May 10, 2025, at Paalana Bhavana Prayer Centre, Archbishop’s House. The oath-taking ceremony and official transition of office were conducted under the administration of Chief Election Commissioner, Qr. Yuisem Pharung Awungshi.

Ngamsing Zingkhai, who hails from Chatric Village, has been elected as the TNWSB Chairman.
The complete list of the new executives is as follows:

  • Vice-Chairperson: Soyaphi Shaza, Hunphun
  • General Secretary: Connor Varah, Halang
  • Joint General Secretary: Taya Valui, Sanakeithei
  • Finance Secretary: Vashung Muilung, Peh
  • Treasurer: Shinnarchon Shimrah, Peh
  • Education Secretary: Khanchipem Zingkhai, Kuirei
  • Joint Education Secretary: Honvinah Rayama, Chingjaroi Khullen
  • Social & Cultural Secretary: Aring Chahongnao, Tingshong
  • Joint Social & Cultural Secretary: Rinchan Vashum, Talui
  • Secretary, Games & Sports: Somaya Mahung, Choithar
  • Joint Secretary, Games & Sports: Mungreipam Ramshang, Makan
  • Public Relations Secretary: Onmaya Marei, Tingshong
  • Joint Public Relations Secretary: Thanngam Yangya, Hoomi
  • Women Coordinator: Soyaphy Chithung, Kumram

Chairman, Ngamsing Zingkhai extended his heartfelt gratitude for the warm and gracious reception, expressing deep humility and appreciation. He formally acknowledged the outstanding leadership and invaluable contributions of the outgoing Chairman, Macven Chamroy, and his team, commending their dedicated efforts in enhancing the welfare of society and fostering the well-being of the community at large.

The newly appointed executives of TNWSB, under the leadership of Ngamsing Zingkhai, are committed to advancing educational excellence through well-structured initiatives aimed at benefiting students and freshmen. Our mission is multifaceted, encompassing the cultivation of a progressive mindset, the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, and the strengthening of unity and integrity within the Tangkhul community in Bangalore. In pursuit of fostering harmony and solidarity, we strive to encourage and initiate efforts that nurture communal unity and peace.

The society remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting Tangkhul students aspiring to pursue higher education in various disciplines in Bengaluru, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to achieve their academic goals.
