Tangkhul Theological Assn Dedicates Smart Training Hall

Ukhrul, Mar 25: The Tangkhul Theological Association (TTA), on Tuesday, dedicated its Smart Training Hall at Hamleikhong, Ukhrul. The first of its kind in Ukhrul Town, the state-of-the-art multi-purpose hall will now cater to the community’s needs on a different level.

The plan was conceptualized in 2023, but the construction started on 16 January 2024. After much prayer and dedication, the building was completed and dedicated on March 25, 2025, by Rev. Dr. Banner Makan, Former Director of TTA, in the presence of Rev. Dr. Wungramthan Shongzan, Director of TTA, Rev. K. Ramthar, President of TTA, and other church leaders.

The Smart Training Hall is dedicated to the service of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the glory of God. The hall will be made available to the public for nominal and concessional fees.

The Tangkhul Theological Association (TTA) aims to be the theological guardian and doctrinal watchdog for the Tangkhul Baptist churches and a center of excellence for training and capacitation in the field of leadership and livelihood.

Rev. Dr. Wungramthan Shongzan presented a detailed report of the project. Rev. K Ramthar, President of TTA, gave away the souvenirs to church leaders, and Rev. Dr. Banner Makan gave the exhortation. Special numbers by the TTA Executive Committee and Staff and Sochihan & Neiphreno Woleng added more colour to the events.
