Tengnoupal: House gutted in fire at Joujang village

Fire gutted a residential house at Joujang village, Tengnoupal district, Manipur on Tuesday.

Properties including a motorbike worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes in the incident. The incident occurred around 1pm of April 6.

The house owner is said to be one Janglal Khongsai (25) of Joujang village.

Fire tenders from Moreh fire service station rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

It is said that Janglal and his parents were not present at the house when the house caught fire. Cause of the fire is unknown.
