Chandel: A newly constructed Thoruwl Football Turf on NH-102(C) was dedicated and opened on April 13, 2024 marking a significant step in sports infrastructure development in Chandel District.
The dedication ceremony was graced by Rev. Dr. SR Onesima Anal, President of the Anal Naga Baptist Association, who led the opening of the Thoruwl Turf as the Blessing Minister. TS Chamna Anal MPS, Chairman of the Thoruwl Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful realization of this project. He particularly thanked the attendees, including the Dedicating Minister and other esteemed guests, for making the dedication and grand opening ceremony a memorable and beautiful occasion.
During his blessing message, Rev. Dr. SR Onesima praised TS Chamna Anal and his family for their proactive role in promoting development through the construction of the Thoruwl Turf. He emphasized the positive impact the turf would have on young athletes, fostering sportsmanship and contributing to a healthy lifestyle for all.
In addition to the Thoruwl Turf, a newly constructed Thoruwl Caffe/Coffee Hut was also inaugurated, designed to cater to commuters and players, enhancing their experience at the venue.
