Lyrics:
There are times when I wonder why
You had to be cruel
With words in your hands
And so mama said yes I know it hurts
But believe me your daddy he loves you so

And though I couldn’t understand now it’s clear to me
What love really means

Chorus:
You made me brave
You made me strong
You made me whole
You did your best
So I can stand on my own
You taught me love
You held my hands
You’re still the best
You’ll always be
My superman

And though it’s been hard for you
You carried the weight
But you wouldn’t say much
And so in everything you’ve been through
All the tears that you shed
Still you stood your ground

And though I couldn’t understand now it’s clear to me
What love really means
