Three minor girls charred to death in Shack Fire, one injured

Three minor girls were charred to death and one minor boy escaped with burning injuries in shack fire incident in Kangpokpi district on Wednesday.

According to source, the incident occurred in the jungle of K Moljol. All the minors are reported to be siblings and resident of K Moljol village near Keithelmanbi, Kangpokpi district.

The three deceased minors are identified as Lhingneihoi Tuboi, aged 4 years, Neichamkim Tuboi, 7 years old, Hatchonghoi Tuboi, 3 years old – Daughters of Lunkhohao Tuboi and Lamneilhing Tuboi of K Moljol village, near Keithelmanbi Kangpokpi district Manipur.

The injured minor boy is identified as Seiminlal Tuboi. He was rushed to Kangpokpi Civil Hospital and later was referred to RIMS Hospital Imphal. Seiminlal was later again referred to Raj Medicity Imphal.

Sources said that Seiminlal sustained 90% burn injury and said to be in critical condition. He is currently undergoing treatment at ICU ward of Raj Medicity.
