Three more die of COVID related illnesses in Manipur

The number of deaths due to COVID-19 related illnesses in Manipur rose to 221 on Sunday after three more patients died in the last 24 hours (from 4 pm of November 14 to 4 pm of November 15), a press release of the COVID-19 Common Control Room said on Sunday.

The number of infection tally also rose to 21,871 after 235 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 including 22 Central security forces were detected during the same period.

Meanwhile, the recovery rate of COVID-19 in the state stands at 85.01% at the moment. A total number of recovered patients increased to 18593 with the discharge of 259 patients including 21 CAPF personnel after they recovered from the contagion in the past 24 hours.

The state has 3,057 active cases, out of which 252 were CAPF personnel.
