TKS congratulates Lt Colonel Ng Shimrei, says his achievement will inspire the youths

The Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS), the apex body of Tangkhul student union while congratulating Lt. Colonel Ngashangva Shimrei for being the first Tangkhul to be promoted to the coveted rank of Colonel in the Indian Army, in a press release Wednesday said that his achievement in the Indian army is a “feat that will inspire the youth in the community to achieve greatness.”


TKS while saying it took great pride on Lt. Colonel Ng Shimrei’s promotion said, his “achievement is a testament of ambition and perseverance” and added, “as a student organization that aspires to help students reach greater heights, accomplishments like yours become a beacon for us.”

The apex body of Tangkhul student union through the release said, “although this note represents only a fraction of the recognition you deserve, TKS said it celebrated together with his achievements and wished him the best in his future endeavors.

Lt. Colonel Ngashangva Shimrei is the son of Ng Kanmi of Phalee village.
