Ukhrul, December 14: The Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), the apex body of the Tangkhul community, has come out strongly against the organizers of the ongoing “The Manipur Indigenous People’s Cultural Exchange Festival 2024” held at Chadong village, Kamjong District, Manipur on 13-14 December 2024.

In a press release, the Tangkhul Naga Long clarified to the public that it did not recognize the Indigenous People’s Forum, Manipur (IPFM). It stated that the festival organized by IPFM under the leadership of Wungnaoshang Kasar of Chadong was deplorable and should never have taken place. “TNL strongly condemns such events using the image of the Naga community and will take necessary action,” it added.
