Tripura Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen Passes Away at 72

UKHRUL: Tripura Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, 72, passed away in Bengaluru on Friday (December 26) after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Sen is a former Congress leader who joined the BJP in 2018,he represented Dharmanagar multiple times. The state declared three-day mourning and his last rites will be held in Dharmanagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of Biswa Bandhu Sen saying, “Pained by the passing of Shri Biswa Bandhu Sen Ji, Speaker of the Tripura Assembly…”
