Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday asserted that the BJP-IPFT coalition government is resolving the electricity outage problem, which has been plaguing the state once and for all. He informed that to improve the power scenario of the state the government is spending Rs 4,800 crore in the state.

Tripura CM on Sunday was speaking at ‘Unnayan Yatra Samabesh’ (Development Journey Rally) at Fatikroy assembly constituency at Unakoti district which is about 121 KMs away from Agartala city.

Addressing the gathering on Sunday afternoon, Deb said “I have news that in some places across the state, there is load shedding and electricity outage for up to 6 hours at a stretch. The previous Left Front government is entirely responsible for this”.

“The previous government ruled Tripura for a stretch of 25 years didn’t solve the problems with power transmission lines and transformers. However, the BJP-IPFT coalition government is permanently resolving this power outage for Rs 4,600 crore. There will be no trouble with this electricity service in the future”, he said.

He also welcomed nearly 1800 individuals to the saffron fold.

With the mantra of ‘Strong booth, strong BJP’, Chief Minister said “We have to humbly engage ourselves in the goal of winning every booth by gaining public trust through intensive public relations. Our goal is to ensure the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party by winning the confidence of the people by overcoming party narrow-mindedness in providing clean houses, drinking water, good education, health, and civic services”.

Deb lambasted the opposition parties for working against Tripura’s interest and smearing its image.
