Two individuals reportedly died on the spot when a Gypsy vehicle plunged into deep gorge near Forest Gate in Tamenglong. The two deceased persons are said to be Ragulung and Gaiduanreiyang.Two other occupants Hulinang and Gaithaolung are seriously injured. The injured persons have been transported to Imphal.
The incident took place between Duigailong and Tamenglong Hqs. The Rongmei Youth Organization Tamenglong had express their gratitude towards DC Armstrong for providing vehicle to transport the injured to District Hospital along with cash.
