Imphal, September 23: The Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), Council Headquarters, today issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Manipur government to vacate the Para-Military Force from the Tribal Girls Hostel, Old Lambulane, Imphal.
TYCM stated that despite submitting a representation and complaint 22 days ago, no action has been taken by the concerned authorities. The council warned that if the government fails to comply, TYCM-CHQ will be compelled to vacate the Para-Military Force by any means, and any incident occurring during the process will be the sole responsibility of the State Government.

The council had earlier submitted a represenOtation on August 29, 2025, to the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, the Chief Secretary, and the Additional Chief Secretary, Tribal Affairs & Hills Department. A complaint was also filed with the Hon’ble Chairperson of the Manipur State Commission for Scheduled Tribes (MSCST) requesting the removal of the Para-Military Force from the hostel.
