Ukhrul Native Earns Master’s from Harvard, Joins MIT as Instructional Technologist

Ukhrul, Aug 2: Tekmiphy Muivah, a native of Somdal Village in Ukhrul district, Manipur, has completed her Master’s degree in Education and Technology from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.

Tekmiphy Muivah, daughter of Asung Muivah, was awarded the prestigious National Overseas Scholarship by India’s Ministry of Tribal Affairs—an honor reserved for a select few scholars from underrepresented communities pursuing higher education abroad.

Currently based in Cambridge, Tekmiphy Muivah is working as an Instructional Technologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she is engaged in designing cutting-edge educational experiences and using technology to improve learning environments.

She previously graduated from Miranda House, Delhi University, and completed her schooling at Air Force Bal Bharati School in New Delhi.
