UKHRUL, NOV 25: The MY Bharat Ukhrul successfully organised the 3rd Padyatra – Sardar Patel @150 Unity March on 24 November 2025, beginning from St. Joseph College, Ukhrul and culminating at the Awontang Traffic Point with enthusiastic participation from youth, students, volunteers and community members.

The event was graced by Phami Vashi, District Youth Affairs & Sports Officer (DYASO) as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the timeless values and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, whose leadership, integrity and nation-building vision continue to inspire generations. He urged the youth to uphold unity, discipline and national responsibility, the core principles championed by Sardar Patel.

The program was also attended by notable dignitaries including Dr. Solei Luiram, Head of Department, ICAR–KVK Ukhrul, Chirmishan ASP, Range Forest Officer, Ukhrul Division, Parvis John, Principal, St. Joseph College, Masopam Kasar, NSS Programme Officer, Ukhrul.

The speakers expressed appreciation for the initiative of MY Bharat Ukhrul in promoting national unity, youth engagement, and public awareness on the values of social harmony and nation-building. They encouraged young participants to draw inspiration from Sardar Patel’s unwavering dedication to strengthening India’s unity and integrity.

The padyatra witnessed an energetic and disciplined march through the town, spreading messages of unity, peace and collective responsibility. The event concluded at Awontang Traffic Point with a pledge reaffirming commitment to national integration and community development.
