Ukhrul: Tower erection work from Sept. 25-27, No load impact: MSPCL

Ukhrul, September 22: The Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has announced a three-day shutdown of the 132 kV Yaingangpokpi–Hundung transmission line to facilitate erection and stringing of a tower at Lambui in Ukhrul district.

According to a press note issued by the Transmission Sub-Division No. VIII, the shutdown will be enforced from September 25 to 27. The company said the interruption is necessary for the erection and stringing of a 132 kV tower as part of ongoing transmission works.

During the period, power supply to all feeders of the 132/33 kV Hundung Sub-Station will be maintained through the 33 kV Yaingangpokpi–Hundung line via Litan.

MSPCL also assured that no load would be affected during the shutdown.
