Ukhrul: Two Months Skill Training In Hospitality Launched

Ukhrul: Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Kengoo Zuringla on Monday launched a two months skill training in hospitality under the mentorship of Gita Mittal Committee at DRDA Hall, Mini Secretariat Complex, Ukhrul.

Organised by the District Administration of Ukhrul, a Government of Manipur initiative, the two months long training will be under the supervision of MSRLM Ukhrul and will wind up on 2 November 2024.

In order to sustain livelihood for youth of Manipur under the mentorship of Gita Mittal Committee, the training has been provided in the fields of food and beverages services, guest service associates, customer service executive and front officer executive. Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Kengoo Zuringla implored the trainees to seize the opportunity and make use of it. She encouraged the youth to be punctual in their training and show maximum discipline in acquiring the skill to the fullest from the trainers and wish the participants a success.

Trainer from Primero Institute, Gauhati will impart training to the 180 selected youth from the many applicants. The training schedule will be given in two timings; the first batch will commence their training at 10:00am-12:40pm and the second batch at 1:30pm -04:00pm.
