Emphasizing the importance of restraint, Governor Bhalla appealed to the Council to maintain peace while dialogue continues. He further underlined that, as the border issue falls under the jurisdiction of the central government, the participation of central representatives is essential for meaningful progress.

It was agreed that both sides would reconvene within three days for the next round of discussions.
