Unity Ride Calls for Oneness Amongst Anal Naga Community

CHANDEL: A Unity Ride organised by the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi – General Headquarters (ALT-GHQ) on Friday called for unity and oneness among the Anal Naga community. The Unity Ride was organised in relation to the upcoming 38th General Conference of the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi to be held from January 27-30, 2026.

The Unity Ride, attended by over 50 Bikers from Chandel district headquarter along with those travelling in four-wheelers, was kicked off from the ALT Head Office, Panchai in Chandel.

Talking the Unity Ride, Khalter Khampa,Chief Convenor, Central Organising Committee (COC), 38th ALT General Conference, said the ride has been organised with a view to instill a sense of unity and oneness amongst the Anal Naga community.

Stressing on the need for the Anal community be united, Khampa said the Anal people needs to come together and be one at all times. “These are crucial times and we need to be united as one,” he asserted.

He also called for a full and total support towards the 38th ALT General Conference.

President of ALT-GHq, Bd. Ningwar Anal, said there is a need for peace and unity in these times and that the Anal people cannot be divided on any ground. “As a community, as one tribe, we always have to be united and stand together,” he said.

Ningwar also appealed for support towards the upcoming 38th ALT General Conference stating that it’s been observed after almost a decade. “This conference is one place where we can show our unity”, he said.

He also extended his gratitude to all those present for the Unity Ride.

The Unity Ride, which began at Chandel district headquarter, took a stop at Beru Unopat village in Western Valley and at Chakpikarong public ground in Chakpikarong wherein words on unity were shared.

President of ANTA and Anal Sinnu Ruwl, representatives/ members of Anal Naga National Workers’ Forum, WVACA, ASR WVA, ALCA, ASR CKG and ANCACSD, addressing the ride, emphasized on the need for unity and oneness amongst the Anal community.

From Chakpikarong ground, the ride headed towards Anal Khullen village, Vobu (Oklu) and passed through Lamphou Charu, Lamphoupasna and Lambung villages before coming to an end at the ALT Head Office in Panchai.
