Vareingam Horam, Executive Member of the Steering Committee, National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Isak Muivah) passed away at the age of 60 on Wednesday morning after a prolonged illness.
According to source, he had been undergoing medical treatment off and on due to multiple health complications. He passed away at Zion Hospital & Research Centre in Dimapur at around 7 AM.
Known for his gentle and articulate persona, V Horam from Tusom village in his decades-long career, served as MIP Kilonser and Home Secretary among many other portfolios he held.
He is survived by his wife and 3 children.
