Speaking to Ukhrul Times, Sub-Inspector Meena expressed her gratitude for the recognition and acknowledged the hard work and dedication she has put in while serving society as a woman police officer.

Joining the state police department on February 1, 2010, Meena is currently serving as the Officer-in-Charge of the Ukhrul Women Police Station, handling POCSO cases for both Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.

“So far, I have handled 25 POCSO-related cases, with 23 charge-sheeted and two FIRs. Three cases have already resulted in convictions,” Meena shared.
