Village Volunteer Force, Manipur pledge to support GoI, says will fight Chin-Kuki-Mizo militants

Imphal: Athokpam Chinglemba general secretary Central Committee Village Volunteer Force, Manipur speaking in a function held at Moirang Kumam Mandop on Thursday said that amidst the present crisis in Manipur, the public without food will see more serious conflict in the state. While he lamented the state of affairs, he said that focusing on the economy of Manipur is of utmost importance, quoting the example of Germany and Russia war in 1945 to learn lesson. “We need to protect our farmers and focus on the agricultural activities, preceded by the rule of law in all aspects of our day today lives,” Athokpam Chinglemba added.

The below is the full declaration of the VVF issued on Thursday at Moirang.

The Official Statement of National Investigation Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, dated 30/9/2023, revealed that “Myanmar and Bangladesh militant groups have entered into a conspiracy with a section of militant leaders in India to indulge in incidents war of violence with an intend to drive a wedge between different ethnic groups and to wage against the Government of India. And for this purpose, the aforementioned leadership have been providing funds to procure arms, ammunition and other types of terrorist hardware which are being sourced both, from across the border, as well as from bother terrorist outfits active in North Eastern States of India to stoke the current strife in Manipur”, source NIA dated 30/09/2023.

NIA started a probe on instruction from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which has said that Chin-Kuki-Mizo (Zo People) militants of Myanmar and Bangladesh along with Chin-Kuki militants of Manipur is waging war against the government of India.

S. Jaishankar, Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs, Government of India stated at an interview that “One part of the problem in Manipur has been the distabilising impact of migrants who have come”.

    Government of India tells to Supreme Court that, “Most of the unclaimed bodies in Manipur are infiltrators”.

    Therefore, considering the above mentioned official statements of the Government of India, the Village Volunteer Force, Manipur is supporting the Government of India in this regard.

    We will support the Central Force, Indian Army and Manipur Police, IRB etc.

    We will fight Chin-Kuki Mizo militants to save India and to protect Manipur.
