VS. Atem sworn in as Deputy Ato Kilonser of GPRN

Lieut. Gen. (Retd.) VS. Atem VC, Member of Collective Leadership was today sworn in as the Deputy Ato Kilonser, the second highest position of the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN).

The oath taking ceremony was held in a house packed at Wungram Baptist Church, Dimapur, administered by Q. Tuccu, Yaruiwo (Chairman) GPRN, said NSCN-IM

VS. Atem’s appointment as GPRN Deputy Ato Kilonser was announced on January 3, 2024. The order had said that he was appointed “In view of national necessity and to further strengthen the administrative functioning of the Government.”

January 3 order also had said that the appointment came as per the advice of the Ato Kilonser Thuingaleng Muivah, and in consultation with the Collective Leadership.
