After the certificate of election declaration, Krishna congratulated and extended his best wishes to each winner of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2022. He also added, “With these words, I extend my congratulations and best wishes towards Ram Muivah. It’s the biggest honour as an IAS officer, I am handing over to our retired IAS officer to be the Member of Legislative Assembly.”
“There may be many loopholes from the NPF party, but despite all that you all love Ram Muivah and have supported him to fulfill his vision and mission. Indeed, I am very happy. Today is a historic day for the Tangkhuls because of winning three NPF candidates. There may be many rumours but this is the proof that Ukhrul is solidly supporting our nation and love our motherland. My best wishes to Ram Muivah. He is a man of word and action. I would like to mention here again, like I have mentioned recently at the Rashing hall, Hungphun, that, there may be many shortcomings of Ram Muivah but please do not be worried that he hasn’t done this and that he won’t be able to accomplish everything at the time. Having said that, I am not asking excuses for him. Let him do what he can for us. If he does anything against the wishes of our people, even we (NPF) will help in questioning him. My best wishes in all his endeavour. Let’s continue to support him like how we support him till today,” said Paul Muinao, Working President, Manipur State Unit, NPF.
Words from the MLAs elect:
“Short of words to express how grateful I am to the Chingai electorate for blessing me with another term to represent you all in the state Assembly. This victory is not mine, it is your victory, the victory of the people, the victory of our cause together. Also heartfelt gratitude to the entire party workers and my campaign team for pulling off one of the most complicated election campaigns in the history of the Chingai Constituency. I extend my warmest regards to Amei Ningam Chamroy, my friend MK Preshow Shimray, Amei Sword Vashum and their entire team for always pushing me and my team to do something better. I shall continue to seek your all suggestions in the days to come in the service of our community. And most importantly thanks to Almighty without whose blessings, this won’t be possible,” said Khashim Vashum
“I am grateful to the Almighty god for his unconditional blessings on me. Today, he has given me another opportunity to serve my people. I am also thankful to everyone who has supported me unceasingly and helped me win again. Together, we shall develop our land and people. I will always be needing your support and prayers to serve us all better. God be with us all!,” said Leishiyo Keishing.
Ram expressed his sincere gratitude to his good friend Maranchan Luikham for being his star campaigner with a big heart, Samuel Risom and his close aides for their wholehearted support to him, and to all his entourage for their total sacrifice, understanding, support and for believing in his vision & mission.
“Firstly, I would like to thank god for this victory. Secondly, this victory to join the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly is a victory for all of us. Indeed a victory of all the people of 44-Ukhrul (ST) AC. I want to seek cooperation from my two opponents. Both of them are worthy opponents. We should not be proud of the victory. So let us be gracious in victory. I extend my invitation and seek their cooperation in the interest of Motherland, Ukhrul district. From now on we are one family. Lastly, please take me as your son, your brother. I will take your concern in every footstep. I will endeavour to fulfill what you want me to do. As I have already shared my vision & mission before, let me not repeat it. Lastly, I want to thank God. I believe that all the happenings of today happen because of God’s plan. I believe that opportunity to serve you is God’s purpose. I will serve Motherland as an act of giving my thanks to God. Now I have only one mission in my life- ‘To Serve Motherland.” Once again, thank you so much for supporting me. May our kind and merciful God bless us and our Motherland,” concluded Ram Muivah during the thanksgiving program at Shalom Lodge, Wino bazaar.
