Woman’s Body Recovered in Churachandpur; Suspect Apprehended

UKHRUL: An unidentified female body was discovered on Monday in the outskirts of Muolvaiphei village in Churachandpur district. Police have detained one suspect in connection with the case.

According to reports, the incident came to light after the Secretary of the Muolvaiphei Village Authority alerted the Churachandpur Police. An FIR was subsequently registered at Churachandpur Police Station, leading to the arrest of a suspect identified as Letkhothang from M. Saheiphai village, Churachandpur.

The body has been sent to the District Hospital Morgue, Churachandpur for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is currently underway.
