Kamjong, April 26: The Kamjong Katamnao Long (KKL) proudly announces the election of Woryar Bungpadang as its new President. Kamjong, one of the youngest districts of Manipur, holds immense potential for growth while facing significant infrastructure gaps, particularly in education, healthcare, and administrative functioning. President Woryar Bungpadang outlined a vision to position the Kamjong Students’ Union as a proactive partner in supporting the district administration. His priorities include facilitating the smooth implementation of government projects and schemes, monitoring developmental initiatives, and advocating for the needs of the student and youth communities.

A key focus of the Union under his leadership will be on strengthening educational infrastructure. Special attention will be given to improving the functioning and quality of the existing Kamjong Higher Secondary School, supporting the establishment of the Model Residential School, and expediting the proposed Kendriya Vidyalaya for Kamjong. These efforts aim to ensure that students in Kamjong have access to quality and equitable education opportunities.

President Bungpadang also emphasized the importance of maintaining the quality and accountability of district infrastructure, particularly the ongoing development of the district headquarters. The Kamjong Katamnao Long will actively monitor construction and maintenance standards, ensuring transparency and efficient utilization of public resources.
