WTR condemns bank robbery by ‘armed gang’ in Ukhrul

The Wung Tangkhul Region (NSCN/GPRN) said the recent looting of Punjab National Bank at Viewland, Ukhrul, by some armed gang has dented the peaceful environment of WTR.

“Those behind such shameful act have no place in this progressive era. They are without a cause and exhibit nothing but antisocial outlaw,” WTR said.

While strongly condemning the “criminal act” of looting the treasury that belongs to the public of Ukhrul district, calling it an “outrageous act of goondaism,” WTR said such robbery will not be tolerated.
