1,727 candidates appearing for HSLC exam in Senapati District

Senapati: A total of 1,727 candidates are appearing for the HSLC exam in Senapati district at 7 different exam centres.

Private exam centres in Senapati district include Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Maram with 237 candidates, 190 at Mao Maram Hr. Sec. School, Tadubi, 204 at Sardar Patel High School, Mao, 214 at Bethany Hr. Sec. School, Senapati, 243 at Lao Radiant Hr. Sec. School, Karong, 249 at Daikho Va School, Senapati, and 400 at Purul Hr. Sec. School.

In order to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the ensuing examination, the Controller of Examinations had earlier issued an order comprising 4 teams as an Inspection team in Senapati district, who will be inspecting the exam on a roster basis.

The district student apex body, Senapati District Students Association (SDSA), is also making rounds at the exam centres to ensure the free and fair conduct of the exam.

It is important to note that 37,715 students are appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examinations, 2024, comprising 19,087 male students and 18,628 female students. The said board exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM), has been conducted across 154 exam centres, with 91 in the valley districts and 63 in the hill districts.
