Senapati: The Manipur State government will celebrate its 1st Anniversary of Biren led government at Mini Stadium Ground, Senapati on Thursday, April 13.
Planning department of the Government of Manipur has extended invitation to all concerned where the state Chief Minister along with his council of ministers, Member of Parliament and members of Legislative Assembly will grace the occasion as the chief guest and guests of honour respectively.

Chief guest and other dignitaries will arrive at the program venue by 11 am of April 13. The welcome speech will be delivered by MLA, L. Dikho. The chief guest will also release a booklet and a short film on achievement of its 1st year of Government, followed by inauguration of the Astro Turf Ground at Senapati and laying of foundation stone for other developmental projects.

There will be different speeches from different ministers including Awangbow Newmai, Minister, Water Resources/Disaster Management, TA & Hills Minister, Letpao Haokip, Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam and Power Minister, Th. Biswajit Singh after which Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh will then deliver his speech on the occasion. MLA Kumo Sha is expected to deliver the vote of thanks at the end of the program.
Officials, senior citizens, civil society organizations and church leaders would also be felicitated during the occasion. A short film on “War on Drugs 2.0” would be screened too. A Friendly Football Match is also scheduled to play between CM’s 11 and Senapati 11 at the later part of the program.

In this regard, security has been tightened in the district headquarters to ensure smooth conduct of the program. Arrangements are in full swing for the said program scheduled for the day.
