309 grams of Brown Sugar seized in Senapati

Senapati: As part of the Government’s ‘War on Drugs 2.0’ campaign, a team from Senapati Police Station arrested an individual in possession of approximately 309 grams of Brown Sugar today.

According to police, the arrest took place at Upper Kathikho Karong along National Highway 2. The apprehended individual has been identified as Nolu Pfotokho Khrasi, a resident of Makhan Khullen under Mao Police Station in Senapati District.

The arrest was made by a Senapati Police team led by Sub Inspector H. Talu Marcus, who were conducting checks on passersby at around 5 AM. Nolu Pfotokho Khrasi was traveling from Senapati in a white Maruti Suzuki Alto car with registration number NL-01CA-7144. During the inspection of the vehicle, the police discovered the contraband drug, which was packed in 25 soap cases.

Senapati Police Station has filed an FIR under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, ND&PS Act against the miscreant for further legal action.
