The 37th edition of the Kana area Marathon was held this morning. The Marathon was organised by Kana Area Sports Association (KAGSA) with the assistance of 4th Assam Rifles.
The marathon was flagged off from L Molhoi and concluded at Sajik ground. Over 21 male youths participated in the more than 8 km distance race.
The 4th Assam Rifles assisted KAGSA with vehicle, ambulance and refreshment in the event. The participants were transported to L Molhoi in Assam Rifles vehicle from where the race started.
KAGSA expressed profound gratitude to 4th Assam Rifles for their constant assistance to Kana area in general and KAGSA in particular.
