46 Members from FNR, NPGs, Tribal Bodies Adopt Resolutions to Strengthen Political Collaboration

Ukhrul, March 24, 2025: The Naga tribe bodies, Naga Political Groups (NPGs), and the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) said it reaffirmed their commitment to the Naga people’s collective political aspirations.

According to an official note signed by all 46 members in a “spirit of unity and determination” present at the March 24, 2025 meeting in Kozabe, Chumukedima, resulted in key resolutions aimed at strengthening collaboration.

The following resolutions were adopted the official note said:

  1. To facilitate and strengthen the Council of Naga Cooperation and Relationship (CNCR), as signed by the NPGs on 14 January, 2025, the Naga tribe bodies will formally join as official participants effective from the next meeting.
  2. The subsequent meeting of the Naga Cultural tribe bodies, the NPGs and the FNR is fixed on Tuesday, 22 April, 2025. The Naga tribe bodies earnestly request the highest leadership of the NPGs to attend this critical gathering. Aligned with the CNCR, full cooperation from all parties is essential and deeply valued.

The FNR focus group meet appealed to every Naga to offer prayers and unwavering support for our shared cause.
