5th Late Lt Col Robert TA Memorial Football Tourney: 8 Teams Qualify for Quarter Finals

SENAPATI: The 5th Edition of Late Lt Col Robert TA Memorial Football Tournament has set foot in the Quarter final stage where two matches were conducted on Wednesday. 

The tournament is organised by the Assam Rifles and is being held at  Astro Turf Ground, Senapati, Manipur from February 5-24.

A total of eight teams have qualified for the Quarter Final stage after displaying impressive performances in the league matches. The knockout matches witnessed intense competition and enthusiastic spectators participation, the Assam Rifles said in a statement.

The first match of the day was between Pou Legends vs Hills Academy R where Pou Legends dominated proceedings to register an emphatic victory of 5-0.

The second match was between Senapati FC vs Kom United FC where Senapati FC won with a score 1-0.
