The release stated that “The Sports Fellowship, the first of its kind hosted by the Youth Society was purposely organized to build relationships, create sportsmanship, enjoy competitions, and create a positive impact on Christian communities which is a matter of life and faith. Sports that we usually play is not a literal play on the field but it is much bigger and more meaningful than that. As players strive to win in the game, we Christian Youths must also strive to win the ultimate prize of salvation. Competition takes place in both the physical and spiritual realms and it is important for the youths to have fairness, integrity and spiritual victory. We consider Sports as one of the best ways to glorify God by being an example of how to put Sports in right perspective.”

Qr Ramnganing Ruivah, Youth Secretary of TBCA, in his speech, explored and situated the positive roles of the youth in life, career, politics, business and spiritual aspect, while Rev Mayonsing Moinao, Pastor of Tashar Baptist Chruch carefully delineated on the strength and force of the youth in building the Church and the world better.

The day long maiden Sports Fellowship ended with a high note on organizing more such type of Fellowship Tourism through Sports under the stewardship of TBCA Youth Union to overcome challenges, unforeseen circumstances, and struggles which are encountered by the present-day youths of the society, stated Chuimei Raiping, Chairman, Youth Society, Tashar Baptist Church.
