In an effort to check the risk of increasing transmission of the Covid-19 virus, medical staff from PHC Moreh has conducted Mass Vaccination at Chavangphai, Moreh W/No.7. The mass vaccination was conducted at Chavangphai Community Hall, under the initiative of Kuki Students’ Organization (KSO) Moreh block.
Speaking at the program Dr. Sweety Thangeo urged people not to trust unfounded and false information about the vaccine which is being spread in various social media platforms. She also gave awareness on the presence of Delta Variant in the state and urged the public to take vaccine at the earliest so as to curb the spread of deadly virus.
“Most dangerous variant of the Coronavirus – Delta Variant, is detected in the state, we should take Vaccine at the earliest before the situation went out of control. Don’t hesitate to take Vaccines, it’s safe. Don’t believe rumors and false information,” Dr. Sweety said.
Dinesh Kumar, SDO Moreh ; K Jadumani Singh, ADC Moreh ; Dr. Sweety Thangeo MD, MO SDH Moreh ; Dr. Shantikumar, MO incharge PHC Moreh and leaders of KSO Moreh block were present at the Vaccination program.
Meanwhile, All Community Moreh Covid Task Force (M-CTF), with the instruction of Tengnoupal district administration, held a meeting at Tamil Sangam office and resolved to conduct community wise mass vaccination in Moreh town
